The universe is full of egregores. All visible and only conceivable objects have their egregors. They are also sometimes called demons, angels, gods, spirits, etc. But they are neither one nor the other, although their individual aspects may manifest themselves in different ways.

The word "egregor" comes from the ancient Greek - ἐγρήγορος - and means "one who is awake." That is, it is a kind of guardian and sentinel who vigilantly monitors, for example, the observance of the law. In this sense it was used by Aeschylus in the Eumenides. The Areopagus - the highest judicial body of Athens - he described in his tragedy as ἐγρηγορὸς φρούρημα, which means "watchful watch". The Areopagus consisted of 9 people. That is, already here we see an indication that ἐγρηγορὸς is some kind of community of people, a kind of structure, the elements of which people become. This is an important point!

There are already mentions of certain “watchers” in a mystical sense in the Book of the Prophet Daniel and the apocryphal Book of Enoch (the latter, by the way, was especially valued by the Gnostics, and then by the occultists of the New Age):

That is, in ancient times, egregors were understood as intelligent higher powers - angels or demons.

In the New Age that came after the Middle Ages, and especially in the 19th century, the concept of “egregore” was revived in the mystical concepts of the Order of the Golden Dawn and occult Freemasonry, which inherited the traditions of the Rosicrucians, as well as in the writings of individual magicians and esotericists. However, the term has already acquired a different meaning, and was understood differently.

However, his merit is in defining the "theory of egregors" as such. It was further developed by others. For example, the cabalist, tarologist and magician Papus.

In his book "Practical Magic" (hereinafter quotes from there), he, like his predecessors, points to the collective nature of egregors, but no longer considers them exclusively as volitional entities that have their own goals.

So, according to Papus, the egregore is controllable, and by itself does not wish evil or good to anyone. Also note the mention of the sign. This is a magical sign. We'll talk about this in more detail below.

Looking ahead, I will say that egregors may have certain volitional qualities. But not on the same scale as angels or demons. In principle, an egregor can be endowed with will to the extent that people design it as such in the astral plane. The quintessence of the volitional aspirations of millions - conscious and not, fleeting and permanent - is the will of such an egregor.

Here I will talk about the levels of egregors, and most importantly - about the personal level (do not confuse with personal egregor!), Since these topics are inseparable. And I'll start with a quote that says about the connection of the word with the emblem, i.e. sign:

The question is natural: how do people, speaking different languages, of which there are so many, turn to the same egregor?

The fact is that egregor has many, let's say, faces. And there are levels of these faces. You can highlight the following:

• personal level - a person's own idea of ​​\u200b\u200ba egregore, at this level there are as many faces as there are people;
• group - generalized representations of like-minded people with similar views;
• linguistic - formed by people who speak one language (hundreds of faces);
• global - the last level (comprehensive face), on which all the meanings and connections of egregor with other energy-informational entities are revealed.

Through the personal level, a person is connected with the global universal egregor.

In addition, the word, being a sign, causes a feedback in a person, an emanation directed to an egregore. Words can be different, as there can be many names (for example, the names of God are innumerable), but they will mean, in principle, one thing.

Therefore, although there are many different languages ​​in the world, people have similar ideas about the same things. Logos is not just a word, but a meaning. Thus, through speech, the forms of egregor are determined.

In everyday speech, people often unintentionally turn to egregors at random. Usually these appeals do not have sufficient force to cause any tangible reactions. Another thing is spells, words inscribed in magical signs. This is already a clear and purposeful appeal to certain astral entities. The word magical differs from the usual one in its energy charge. The magic word is the key, tool and weapon of the magician. It is dangerous to use such words - to touch on powerful forces - without having the appropriate knowledge and experience.

In everyday conversations, you should also be careful. Seemingly simple words, spoken in certain situations, can set in motion astral mechanisms, even if you do not want it. Especially if you speak under stress, in the heat of a quarrel, or overwhelmed by negative emotions. This may harm you or your loved ones.

Egregors are formed not only due to the language, but also due to images, traditions and rituals that are rooted in culture and in magical practices. After all, images (symbols, seals, graphic signs, etc.), traditions and rituals are also a kind of languages. Darkness seizes everyone in a row, its motives are simpler and clearer: power, money, fame, in short, all simple and understandable human joys. Light is less clear. I myself once thought the principle absurd: help people, and you will be happy. What do I care about people! However, as it turned out, there is a case. In the modern world, it is not difficult for a person to make a deal with Satan and get the same wealth, power and fame.

So I repeat: it must be the choice of the soul. You must think very well, weigh the pros and cons, turn inward and find out what is closer to you. So, what does egregor give you? First, energy. This is the main resource for the magician, without which he is nothing. Secondly, protection. Egregor, to the best of his ability, protects you from dangers. This manifests itself, for example, in an unconscious desire to bypass the dark courtyard, making a detour. Thirdly, egregor can fulfill some desires. This, of course, is not a genie, but the higher you are in egregore, the more you believe in it, the more energy you give, the more you get. Moreover, we are talking about things not only of a spiritual nature. By the way, the closer your desires are to the desires of the egregor himself, the faster and more fully you will get it. For example, all my life I have one main desire - more power. And I successfully receive it with each new initiation. In addition to these two egregors, there are many side "mental condensates" - sub-egregors. When you enter into light or darkness, you practically have no relation to that light and that darkness that the Creator separated. At low levels, you are in human egregors, that is, they are created by people - their thoughts and emotions. True, they are part of the egregores of light and darkness, but they are very small and limited by their laws, often more stringent.
For example, the Christian egregor is part of the egregor of light. Orthodox and Catholic egregores are parts of the Christian egregore. Therefore, if you are baptized, then you are already in the egregor of light. Although, most likely, you were recorded there without your desire. Second: if you have a strong and generous friend, or rather a teacher, you can live on his personal energy for several months. Third: you move to a higher level egregor.
